Order #1 - Home Made Shake and Fries

Shakes and Fries

Shakes and fries are awesome...
They are even better together.

Wow, that looks pretty yummy.
But, there is something that is not so good tasting about the shake.
What is it?
If you want to know you might just have to wait and keep reading.

Lets get started.
I put a frozen banana, some frozen strawberries,
and some frozen blackberries in the blender.

Then...
oh no, what is that? Yup, that is frozen pineapple.
I am making shake and fries for my dad, and he likes basically everything in his shake.
If you are making this you can put whatever kind of fruit you like in it.

Now, what is the next thing in a "Milk Shake"?
Milk, of course.
Sometimes I put a little bit of vanilla in it, but I didn't this time.
A kind of shake that I like is, Peanut Butter Banana,
I just put Peanut Butter, Banana and Milk in it.

After I blended that up, it was a little to thick to be drinkable.
So, I just added some more milk.

Of course  I need something to fry the fries in.

And yes, I am making sweet potato fries.
If I was making normal fries, they would not look orange.

Sounds so yummy!

Time to season the FRIES!

I put Salt,

  Basil Leaves,

    Thyme Leaves,

And . . . Hold on just a moment, it is taste test time.

And Granulated Garlic

While the rest of the fries were cooking, I poured the shake in a jar.

And I topped it off with a few frozen blackberries and a half of a frozen strawberry.
FOR FUN.

THEY ARE FINISHED!

The Baby and Baby Carriage Fruit Salad

The Baby and Baby Carriage Fruit Salad
👶 🍉

We had a Baby Shower about a week and a half ago,
the theme of the food was mainly salads.
So my mom and I decided to make a fruit salad.
We looked some things up and found an idea.

Ok, lets make it.😉

Get a Watermelon

Cut a spot on your watermelon so it can sit there and not roll.
Like the yellow spot, because that is where it sat on the ground to grow.
Like I show in the picture.

Once that is done, get a coffee cup
or something about that height.
On each side of the watermelon cut across
to that level. And move your knife around the
watermelon with the coffee cup so it is at the right height.

Try to take that piece of the watermelon off.
Like in the picture.

I used a melon baller to scoop little balls
out to put back in.

And my mom and I also used a ice cream scooper
to get the rest of the watermelon out.

We used a cantaloupe for the Baby's head.
You could use a orange or a grapefruit if you like.
If you are going to use an orange or a grapefruit you can cut
it in half to make it smaller or not.
If you make twins or triplets,
you might want to use something smaller,
like an orange or grapefruit.

We used a cantaloupe, so we cut it in half.
I used the melon baller again and got a bunch of
little balls out of one side to put in the salad.

We used the other side of the cantaloupe for the head and face.
Mom cut all of the peel off also.
⬇

We put some fruit in the empty watermelon
to help hold the head up some.
Toothpicks can be used to put the eyes and nose on the head.
We thought we didn't have toothpicks and so we used the grape stems.

We added wheels on the carriage
by slicing a grapefruit up.
We used toothpicks to attach them to the sides.

NOW! The watermelon was filled up with fruit.
Grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe balls,
and watermelon balls were what we put in our fruit salad.

We also cut a little hole on the cantaloupe
to put a pacifier in the mouth.

Since my sister is having a girl,
we got a little decorative with a flower on the baby's head.
Play around with it if you want to.
