Chocolate Covered Goodies

Chocolate Covered Marshmallows, Strawberries, Mint Leaves, and Pretzels.

Some time this year I made chocolate covered goodies for a little girl party!
I took some pictures while I was making the chocolate covered snacks, now I can post on here about the little journey :).

Water on the burner.

This is Almond Bark, as you can see.

You can see how I melted the almond bark. You can also just put
it in the microwave and melt it by 30 second intervals.

Here are the marshmallows, strawberries, and pretzels.

Then. . . fresh mint leaves from the garden.

Alright, lets get started on covering the treats.

Marshmallows first.

Dip the sticks in the almond bark then put it in the marshmallow.

Have fun with it, if you want to ;).

Mint Leaves.

Pretzels.

Strawberries.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a nice day.

A Few Desserts I Have Made The Last Month Or Two.

Here are a few desserts I have made within the last month or two!

Shortbread Caramel Layered Bars

After watching a baking show,  I had an idea!
I found an easy shortbread recipe, which shortbread is usually not that hard to make.
Then also found a homemade caramel recipe, just online.
The last layer, which is on the top, is just almond bark. Although, you could use actual chocolate.
I made the shortbread & caramel, and then put it all together.
You could make different shapes, just have fun with it.
Put nuts, coconut flakes, or whatever topping on top if you like, or make it without a topping.
OR just get an idea from this post and use your creativity.

Macarons

I found a recipe online somewhere, which was a pretty good recipe.

In the picture below. . . I was saving some
(because they may all get eaten), haha.

They still turned out after some water spilled on the tops and bottoms,
so Mom and Arie helped me move them real quick!
On to the next. . .

Pudding, Mint Cookie\Cream, Sugar Dessert.

I had made Mint Thumbprints, homemade Pudding, Mint egg-white Sugar top,
and melted Sugar Spikes.
Put it together and served it to my family!

Kittens From This Year

Kittens That Have Been Born This Year On The Ranch

Does anyone want to see some pictures of this year's kittens that have been born on the ranch?!
I had three mama cats give birth to four kittens each. Over the past couple of months four have died,
which was sad. There were different reasons why, but I still have eight alive because that is what God wanted. Lets look at some pictures now!

The First Litter:

All of those kittens are still alive besides the black one in the last pic. :(
This next picture is the mom to those first four:

The Second Litter:
And yes, that is my dog (Husky) in the background.

I think two of them looked alike, like this one in the picture below.

That whole litter died besides this one in the last picture, (I think it was this one).
There were so many gray ones!

This is the mom to the kittens in those last pictures:

The Third Litter:

YAY! All of the kittens in this litter have survived so far!
Here is the mom:

These are some pictures of some of the same likeness of color of all three litters:

Tortoise Color.
You may have heard that these colors of cats are called calico, but, no.
Calico colored cats have white. Tortoise color does not have white.
The three kittens in the pic below, may have a bit of white on them.
But, Google says that tortoiseshell's can also have some white.
So that means that Calicos have a lot more white. Look it up and have some fun
learning about the different kinds of colors of cats.
Also, Calicos and Tortoise cats are usually all females, unless God made one
be a male of course.

Black:

Gray:

I hope you liked this post of kittens from this year.

And I also hope you learned something about cats, and if you want to learn more
you can always go to Google.

Have a nice day!
